This week we pick 3 topics; Malaria issues; climate change; and WB&IMF Spring meetings. Malaria mortality and incidence rates have not changed appreciably since 2015; however, new approaches and success stories are coming. Somalia and Ethiopia face high levels of acute food insecurity which caused by calamitous droughts. In the face of a changing and evolving world, crisis after crisis, we wonder how international lenders such as WB and IMF respond.
